Grand Inauguration of “Sangam: Model United Nations 2025” at DPS Udaipur

Udaipur: The three-day event “Sangam: Model United Nations (MUN) – 2025” was grandly inaugurated at Delhi Public School, Udaipur today. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Ms. Srishti Dabas, Assistant Collector of Udaipur, as the chief guest.

The program commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome address by Principal Sanjay Narwaria, who felicitated the chief guest. Addressing over 265 student delegates from more than 45 schools across and outside Udaipur, the chief guest emphasized the importance of co-curricular activities along with academics for holistic student development. She noted that such conferences help students develop the ability to discuss, deliberate, and debate global issues.

The smooth conduct of the conference is being supported by 50 teachers, 25 alumni, and a team of subject experts from Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur.

Mrs. Apoorva Agrawal, member of the school’s management committee, stated that such events prepare students to become global citizens and play a vital role in enhancing their leadership skills.

On this occasion, the conference coordinators and organizing team were introduced, and the official announcement of the event’s commencement was made. Students of DPS Udaipur also presented a welcome song and dance performance, adding a cultural touch to the ceremony.

During the three-day conference, participants will engage in intense discussions and debates on various global issues, helping them hone their skills and contribute to their overall personality development.
