Udaipur – Children from Sur Sangam Sanstha, Udaipur, stole the spotlight at the five-day International Cultural Harmony Program held at Shimla Kalibari, Himachal Pradesh. The event was organized by Nrityadham Kala Samiti under the aegis of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The program concluded successfully today.
Renu Gorer from Sur Sangam Sanstha shared that in the solo dance competition, Diara secured the first prize, while Zenisha and Dhruti also won top ranks in the Khwaahish Scholarship category. Preet, Venisha, Nirvika, and Aanvi were awarded the second position.
In the duet category, Nirvi and Nitya stood first. The semi-classical group dance category was won by the team of Diara, Khwaahish, Ivanka, Aanvi, and Venisha. In the Classical Junior Group Dance, participants Nirvi, Nitya, Avya, Ahana, Zenisha, Nirvika, Trisha, Dhruti, Preet, and Sanvi bagged the first prize. The same team also secured first place in the Folk Dance Junior Competition.
Renu Gorer proudly noted that the children from Udaipur performed with great enthusiasm and brought international recognition to the city through their talent and hard work.
