A Small Initiative for Our Own: Campaign Launched to Help the Needy in Winter

Udaipur: As winter intensifies in the city, a thoughtful social initiative has been launched to support those who spend their nights on streets, footpaths, and open platforms. A campaign titled “A Small Initiative for Our Own” has been started with the aim of providing relief to these vulnerable individuals facing harsh cold nights.

Under this initiative, a team will visit various parts of the city during the night and distribute blankets to people sleeping in the open, helping them stay warm. The primary objective of the campaign is to reach those who are in genuine need of assistance.

The initiative was formally flagged off today by Additional District Collector (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore and Additional District Collector (City) Jitendra Ojha. Appreciating the noble effort, the officials said that such initiatives strengthen humanitarian values in society and offer significant relief to the needy during the challenging winter season.

Dr. Shobha Lal Odichya informed that the campaign will be conducted at night under the leadership of social worker, yoga trainer, and world record holder Gopal Dangi. The team aims to extend help to as many people as possible. She also appealed to city residents to identify those in need and come forward to support them.

Dr. Sanjay Maheshwari, Sanjay Dangi, Yash Dangi, and others were present during the program.
