Listening to Shiva Mahapurana Reveals the Secrets of Creation: Sadhvi

Barmer — On the second day of the ongoing Shri Shiva Mahapurana Katha at Vatsalya Seva Kendra, held on the occasion of the Avataran Diwas of Vatsalya Murti Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhara, spiritual discourse echoed with profound reflections on life, devotion, and the mysteries of creation.

Addressing devotees on Wednesday, Sadhvi Satyasiddha said that listening to the Shiva Mahapurana grants deep insight into the secrets of creation and is considered an extremely meritorious spiritual act. She explained that birth and death, joy and sorrow, attachment and illusion are all temporary in this transient world. A person, she emphasized, should live with values and engage in service, as this alone paves the path toward divine realization.

Elaborating on the life, glory, divine plays, incarnations, Jyotirlingas, and worship of Lord Shiva, Sadhvi Satyasiddha said that the Vedas, Puranas, and Upanishads offer immense opportunities to understand the essence of life. However, humans often neglect this wisdom and give excessive importance to material pursuits, which ultimately hold little lasting value. Due to lack of true knowledge, emotions like fear, despair, deceit, greed, and hypocrisy arise, making life more painful. For peace and enthusiasm, she urged devotees to constantly remember the Divine and draw inspiration from the life of Lord Shiva.

The katha witnessed the presence of Vatsalya Seva Kendra President Om Prakash Mehta, Vice President Purushottam Khatri, Mahesh Suthar, Advocate Sawai Prajapat, Sampat Raj Looniya, Om Prakash Mali, Chhotoo Singh Panwar, Nimb Singh Devda, Ravindra Singh Bhati, Govind Singh Sodha, Togararam Meghwal, Narayan Brijwal, Chandraveer Parihar, Shivam Meghwal, Paras Mali, along with hundreds of men and women devotees who immersed themselves in the spiritual atmosphere.

Daily Bhojan Prasadi is being arranged through the generosity of Bhamashah Om Prakash Mali. Adding a devotional touch, the orphaned girls of Vatsalya Seva Kendra presented the 15th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita and soulful bhajans, earning heartfelt appreciation from the audience.

Vatsalya Seva Kendra President Om Prakash Mehta informed that the seven-day Shri Shiva Mahapurana Katha will continue till January 19, followed by Yagna and Purnahuti on January 20. For the convenience of devotees, bus services to and from the katha venue are being provided daily till 1 PM from near Bhagwan Mahavir Town Hall.

The event is expected to be graced by the sacred presence of several eminent saints, including Brahmadham Teerth Asotra Siddhpeethadhishwar Shri Shri 1008 Tulchharam Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Jagdish Puri Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Mahant and Pokaran विधायक Pratap Puri Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Jagaram Puri Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Khushalgiri Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Parshuramgiri Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Narayanpuri Maharaj, Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Shambhunath Maharaj, and Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Praveenpuri Maharaj.
