PIMS Mewar Cup": Super Over Decides Victory for Mewar Tourism Club

Udaipur: In the ongoing PIMS Mewar Cup cricket tournament held at the City Field Club ground, the team of Spartan Cricket Academy, Jodhpur, led by international player Ravi Bishnoi, secured a place in the final by winning against the Delhi Challengers by 17 runs on Saturday. In the morning match, both teams ended up with the same score, leading to the first-ever super over in which the Mewar Tourism Club defeated the Delhi Challengers.

The organizer Naman Agarwal, Bilal Akhtar, and Harshit Dhawai mentioned that the Spartan Cricket Academy's team scored 197 runs, losing five wickets in the predetermined overs while batting first. Ravi Bishnoi contributed 55, Shubham Patwal scored 44, and Rajatsingh added 43 runs. In response, the team of JR Cricket Academy managed to score only 180 runs, losing six wickets in the predetermined overs.

Before this, in the first match, the team of Mewar Tourism Club scored 172 runs, losing seven wickets. Sumit Godara contributed 43, and Divy Pratap scored 39 runs. In response, Delhi Challengers Cricket Club also scored 172 runs. Consequently, a super over was played, in which the Delhi Challengers couldn't score any runs, losing two wickets, and Mewar Tourism Club secured a victory by scoring six runs. The final will be held on Sunday at the Field Club ground.
