#### SPSU Successfully Hosts International Conference “BIZ-SMART-2025

Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, successfully hosted the two-day International Conference “BIZ-SMART-2025: Sustainability, Metaverse, AI, Resilience, and Transformation in Business and Management” on November 21–22, 2025, organized by the Faculty of Management.

The conference brought together global academicians, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to deliberate on emerging trends shaping the future of business, technology, and society. The inaugural ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp in the presence of distinguished dignitaries.

The event was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, Hon’ble President, SPSU, who delivered the Presidential Address and felicitated the distinguished dignitaries, including Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Kailash Sodani, Advisor to the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan and Former Vice Chancellor, VMOU, Kota, along with Guests of Honour Prof. (Dr.) N. S. Rathore, Former Vice Chancellor, MPUAT, Udaipur, and Prof. (Dr.) Imran Saleem from the University of Buraimi, Oman.

The conference began with an introduction delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sadananda Prusty, Dean, Faculty of Management, followed by the inaugural vote of thanks presented by Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Lalwani, Deputy Dean.


The conference also featured two keynote sessions spread across both days, showcasing distinguished international experts, including Prof. Mohammed Kamal Battaur from A’Sharqiyah University, Oman; Prof. Sandeep Poddar from Lincoln University College, Malaysia; Dr. Anurag Srivastava, CEO, Kanodia Group; Prof. Mohan Lal Agrawal of the Indo-Gulf Management Association, Dubai; Prof. Naveed Yasin from the Canadian University, Dubai; Mr. Shujath Bin Ali from Fourth Partner Energy, India; Prof. Bui Thanh Hung from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Prof. Indrajit Pal from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, who shared insights on global trends and transformative industry developments.

The two-day conference featured over 70 research paper presentations conducted across four parallel tracks, namely Artificial Intelligence, Automation & Digital Transformation chaired by Prof. Meera Mathur (Director, FMS, MLSU); Sustainability, Green Practices & Environmental Innovation chaired by Dr. Harshita Shrimali (HoD, GITS); Tourism, Hospitality, Metaverse & Experience Design chaired by Latif Khan (Associate Professor, GITS); and Business Management, HR, Finance & Societal Transformation chaired by Prof. Naveen Kumar (Dy. Dean, FIAT, SPSU), each complemented by engaging Q&A sessions that fostered active academic dialogue and participant interaction.

Researchers represented universities from India, Oman, Malaysia, UAE, Thailand, Vietnam, Ghana, and South Asia, highlighting the event’s global reach.

The conference concluded with a valedictory ceremony that featured the presentation of the conference report by Dr. Sahil Arora, the distribution of Best Paper Awards and other prizes by the Hon’ble President of SPSU, and a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Imran Anwar, Faculty of Management.

The conference reflected SPSU’s strong commitment to advancing and promoting research-driven innovation in sustainability, technology, and business transformation. Participants expressed appreciation for SPSU’s effort in promoting cutting-edge research, sustainability-driven innovation, and global academic collaboration.
