SPSU Students participated in BSF Boot Camp

Students from Sir Padampat Singhania University,Udaipur took part in a Boot Camp organized by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Suigam, Banaskantha, Gujarat from 19-21 February, 2024. Upon arrival at the "Tejaswi 123 Bn." base camp, they were warmly welcomed by Mr. JK Singh, Deputy Commandant Tejaswi 123 battalion and during his introductory speech he provided the insights into the workings and organisational structure of the BSF. Next day a session on weapon handling techniques was conducted.

During the camp, the students visited Nadabet, situated along the Indo-Pak border, where they learnt about the significance of the "Zero Point," and “Zero Line “marking the International Border between India and Pakistan. The students had the privilege of interacting with His Excellency Hon’ble Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Gujarat, motivated them and encouraged them to uphold justice and serve their nation diligently.

 

 

 

Over the course of the three-days boot camp, the students benefited greatly from activities focused on fostering discipline, teamwork, personality development, and leadership skills. The team was led and coordinated by Lt. (Dr.) D S Chouhan, Associate Professor and Associate NCC Officer, SPSU.
