Advika and Mehul Crowned Udaipur District Under–15 Chess Champions

Udaipur:The “Udaipur District Under–15 Chess Championship–2025,” organized by the Udaipur District Chess Association, was successfully held at CPS School, Bhupalpura. A total of 86 players from various schools of Udaipur city and district participated in the tournament. The chief guests were Mahesh Ji Chauhan and Sandeep Ji Chauhan from RITHAS.

In the girls’ category, Advika Saruparia of DPS showcased an outstanding performance to secure the first position, followed by Veera Kage (MDS) in second place and Lorisha Kothari (MDS) in third. The top ten also included Paushita Paliwal, Himani Chaparwal, Bhavya Maheshwari, Paridhi Lodha, Mannanya Chaudhary, Hoshi Paliwal, and Vihana Kothari.

In the open category, Mehul Paliwal (St. Paul’s) bagged the first position, Dhananjay Shukla (MDS Public School) secured second, and Viyansh Bhatnagar (Witty International) achieved third place. Others in the top ten were Mohak Hermore, Dhruvin Jain, Vinite Kage, Gagan Dak, Vihaan Kumawat, Shreyansh Puri, and Rishan Jain.

Additional prizes were awarded across different age groups.
In the boys’ section:

Under–7: Gatik Vyas, Atharv Chhajed, Priyansh Ahari

Under–9: Sujyot Kale, Vihaan Kariwal, Purvansh Panwar

Under–11: Divyansh Mathur, Priyanshu Nayak, Yedhant Chittora

Under–13: Varnit Singh Chauhan, Akshit Jain, and Utkarsh Singh (Witty International School)

In the girls’ section:

Under–7: Vihana Gukhroo and Prisha Kataria

Under–9: Sanchi Jain

Under–11: Jeshvi Chaubisa, Lubhni Jain, and Jianshi Jain

Under–13: Navya Pareek and Bhavnidhi Bhati
