Udaipur’s Shourya Jain Leads Indian Team”

Udaipur: Coach Shourya Jain from Udaipur has led the Indian Camel Riding team to Bahrain for the 3rd Asian Youth Games. The Indian team includes Karishma Vishnoi from Phalodi in the girls’ category, and Hitendra Singh from Barmer and Rishabh Kadam from Mumbai in the boys’ category.

From October 8 to 20, the team underwent rigorous training at Abu Dhabi, UAE, familiarizing themselves with camels and honing their skills ahead of the competition. Camel Riding is being featured for the first time at the Asian Youth Games, and India hopes to make a mark with this debut.

The team was accompanied by Vishnu Narayan and Akshay Poswal from the Camelid Sports Association of India, supporting the athletes and ensuring smooth participation. The intense preparation has raised expectations for India to bring home medals in this unique sport.
