Bhilwara: With heartfelt wishes for universal peace, tranquility, and well-being, the inaugural ceremony of the 11-kund Shri Kamadhenu Surabhi Mahayagna took place for the first time at Hanuman Tekri, Kathiya Baba Ashram in Bhilwara. On the second day of the grand event, Thursday witnessed the solemn ritual of Agni installation under the guidance of Acharya Shri Mukesh Avasthi Maharaj from Shridham Vrindavan.

Avasthi Maharaj explained that the proceedings began with the worship of deities of the Ganpati Mandal and the establishment of Agni through the Arani Manthan ritual. Following this, the Navagraha Mandal deities were invoked, installed, and worshipped, along with the auspicious inauguration of the Gauri Sarvotbhadra Mandal deities and the worship of Surabhi Mata (Mother Cow). The ceremony included the chanting of mantras, havan (sacrificial fire), and aarti (ritualistic worship). The divine event concluded with the distribution of prasad.

The Mahayagna, spanning seven days, aims at fostering spiritual well-being, prosperity in trade, and other positive outcomes. The main sponsors of the Yagna on the second day were Tejasingh Purawat and Prashant Singhvi. The main guest of honor was Harani Mahadev, accompanied by several contributing sponsors, including Gajanand Bajaj, Ramanarayan Birla, Shyam Joshi, Dinesh Joshi, Surendrasingh, Bhawar Prajapat, VK Goyal, Sujitsingh, Amarish Singh, Pappu Sharma, and others.

The event is set to continue daily from 8 AM to 12:30 PM, culminating with the Purnahuti and Maha Aarti on February 20.

Additionally, the spiritual atmosphere was further heightened with the initiation of the Shri Radha Raseshwari Rasleela Mandal from Vrindavan, Mathura, presenting devotional Rasleela and Mayur Nritya on Wednesday night. The first day showcased enchanting performances portraying various episodes from Lord Krishna's life, captivating the audience with mesmerizing Rasleela.

The Vrindavan artists, under the guidance of Mahant Banwarisharan Kathiyababa, commenced with depicting the dialogue between Kansa and his father Ugrasen, leading to the incarceration of Ugrasen in the prison. The Rasleela performances will continue every night at 8 PM, aiming to enrapture the devotees in the spiritual fervor created by the divine tales of Lord Krishna.
