Udaipur : Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde will be on an official visit to Udaipur on Saturday. He is scheduled to arrive at Dabok Airport at 6:30 PM by aircraft.
According to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shivsinh Sarangdevot, the Governor will inaugurate the Two-Day All India Accounting Conference and International Seminar at the School of Agricultural Sciences Auditorium, Dabok, on Sunday at 10:30 AM. The event is jointly organized by the Udaipur Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University. Preparations for the event are in the final stages.
Before the inauguration, Governor Bagde will be accorded a Guard of Honour by NCC cadets. The seminar will also feature Dr. Manju Bagwar, State Minister for Public Works, Women & Child Development, and Child Rights, as a distinguished guest. The chief speaker will be Prof. Gaurav Vallabh, Member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, while Prof. K.S. Thakur, Vice-Chancellor of Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara, will preside over the seminar.
The two-day event is expected to host over 900 accounting educators and professionals from across India and abroad. Prof. Shoorveer Singh Bhanawat, Secretary of ICAI and Event Secretary, stated that participants will start arriving on Saturday and will be welcomed at the airport, railway station, and bus stands following traditional Rajasthani customs.
To ensure the convenience of participants arriving from India and abroad, the first lift in the university campus was inaugurated on Friday at the Agriculture College. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed following Pandit rituals by Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Kuladhipati Bhanwar Lal Gurjar, Prof. I.J. Mathur, and Prof. Gajendra Mathur.
A cultural evening will be organized on Sunday at 6 PM at the Agriculture College auditorium for national and international participants. Traditional Rajasthani folk singer Bhutte Khan and his team will perform regional folk songs, including Mangania.
The event was attended by several officials and coordinators, including Controller of Examinations Dr. Paras Jain, Dr. Shilpa Lodha, Dr. Shilpa Vardiya, Dr. Abhay Kumar Jaroli, Dr. Yuvraj Singh Rathod, Prof. Saroj Garg, Dr. Ami Rathod, Dr. Rachna Rathod, Subhash Bohra, Umrao Singh Ranawat, Dr. Rohit Kumawat, Dr. Saurabh Singh, and Dr. Himmat Singh Chundawat.
