Udaipur, On the occasion of World Meditation Day, declared by the United Nations on December 21, a large-scale Heartfulness Meditation and relaxation session was organised at the Royal Institute of Competition, Raghunathpura, Udaipur. The programme was conducted under the Heartfulness U-Connect initiative by the Udaipur Centre (Zone RJ-7H) in collaboration with the institute, with the aim of promoting mental well-being, inner balance and a stress-free lifestyle among students and teachers.
According to Dr. Rakesh Dashora, In-charge of the Heartfulness Udaipur Centre, around 2,000 students and nearly 150 faculty members participated enthusiastically. The collective session helped participants experience relaxation, reduced stress, enhanced concentration and inner calm. The meditation was guided by experienced trainers Asha Sharma and Dr. Subodh Sharma.
The event also highlighted a global milestone, where over 3.5 lakh people from 179 countries meditated together online under the guidance of Heartfulness global guide, Revered Guru Shri Kamlesh Patel (Daaji), setting a new Guinness World Record. More than 6,000 participants from Udaipur joined online and offline sessions.
The programme was coordinated by Royal Institute Director Er. G.L. Kumawat, who emphasised the importance of meditation for competitive exam aspirants. Participants shared positive feedback, describing the experience as peaceful, refreshing and deeply calming.
