Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies Organizes International Women's Day Event

Udaipur : Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies celebrated International Women's Day to promote women's contributions on the global stage. On this occasion, various programs focused on women's empowerment were organized, paying tribute to prominent female figures such as Shrimati Sarojini Naidu, Kalpana Chawla, and Madame Curie.

Women are now walking shoulder to shoulder with men in every field. Whether at home or in the office, women are often entrusted with more subtle management responsibilities compared to men. The world recognizes that women possess greater resilience and endurance than men. Women are creators of new structures. Today's women not only manage households but also make significant contributions to the progress of their countries and the world at large. The aim of this program was to raise awareness about improving the social, economic, and political status of women and to educate them about their rights.

As the chief guest, Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, encouraged students and female teachers of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS) to establish their identity at the national and international levels and to empower themselves. The program was coordinated by Dr. Anjali Dhabai and conducted by student Charvi Bapna.

GITS has always focused on women's empowerment. It is a testament to this mindset that two female teachers of GITS have been selected for a nationwide Women Hackathon. As a result, the Indian government will provide a grant of Rs. 15 lakhs to implement their ideas. Under the leadership of Mrs. Anuradha Mathur, members of the GITS family, including students, female employees, and teachers, enjoyed the program.

During the program, female staff members who have completed more than 10 years of service in the organization were also honored.

The success of this program was attributed to the crucial roles played by Director Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Dr. Anjali Dhabai, Dr. Radha (Principal), and Dr. Harshita.
