Udaipur: Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, in collaboration with the HR Professionals Society Udaipur, successfully organized the first edition of the grand “Round Table HR Conclave 2026” at a renowned resort in the city. The event witnessed participation from more than 100 HR Heads and senior HR professionals from various corporate, education, and healthcare institutions across Udaipur.
Geetanjali Group Executive Director Ankit Agrawal extended his congratulations on the successful आयोजन and stated that in today’s rapidly changing world, it is extremely important to maintain a balance between AI, technology, human values, and sensitive leadership. He expressed confidence that such interactive and knowledge-oriented platforms would provide new direction and inspiration to HR professionals.
The Guests of Honour at the event included Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran, Head Executive Education, IIM Udaipur, and Munish Vasudeva, CHRO, Hindustan Zinc Limited.
The speakers and panelists included Rishi Kapoor, CEO, GMCH Udaipur; Satyendra Gaur, Business Head, Adani Realty and former CHRO of Adani Gas and Adani Wilmar Ltd.; Dr. Rajeev Pandya, CHRO, Geetanjali Group Udaipur; Dr. N.K. Sharma, Chairman, QCFI and former Head HR, JK Tyre & Industries; Dr. Harpreet Singh, Medical Superintendent, GMCH Udaipur; Dr. Ashish Sharma, Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, GMCH Udaipur; and Batool Habib, People Partner, Dharohar, along with HR experts from several reputed institutions.
The discussions were moderated by Dr. Mahima Birla, Director IQAC, Narayana Business School, and Dr. Arvind S. Pemawat, Group Head – Career Development, Geetanjali Group. Kalpesh Chand Rajbar, Head Marketing, and Vivek Mishra, Corporate Manager, were also specially present on behalf of Geetanjali.
Special panel discussions were organized on the topics “HR Beyond Technology and AI” and “HR as a Strategic Business Partner.” During the discussions, speakers emphasized that AI and automation should not be viewed as competitors to HR, but rather as collaborators. Experts stated that AI can reduce repetitive tasks and operational pressure in the workplace, enabling HR professionals to focus more on employee development, workplace culture, leadership building, and human relationships.
The speakers further remarked that organizations that establish a better alignment between technology and human touch will be more successful in the future. While AI can enhance speed and efficiency at work, employee trust, emotional connection, and a positive work culture can only be built through human leadership and a sensitive HR approach.
Addressing the gathering, GMCH Udaipur CEO Rishi Kapoor said that this is not just an initiative but a platform where HR professionals from different sectors come together to exchange experiences, ideas, and knowledge. He stated that the role of HR is no longer limited to hiring and administration; HR has now become a crucial pillar in an organization’s strategic direction, workplace culture, and overall growth.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Harpreet Singh spoke on the topic “Geetanjali in New Era,” highlighting the institution’s legacy, modern healthcare services, and future vision. He stated that Geetanjali Hospital continues to move forward with new technologies, better healthcare facilities, and a strong work culture while prioritizing human-centric services in the future as well.
Thereafter, Dr. Ashish Sharma, Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry, GMCH Udaipur, shared information about Geetanjali’s advanced and well-equipped laboratory facilities. He said that the institution provides quality diagnostic services at affordable rates and briefly discussed various modern investigation and diagnostic facilities available at the hospital.
Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran, while presenting her practical and impactful views, stated that HR should not remain confined to policy-making but must play the role of a “Champion of Cause.” She emphasized that maintaining a balance between a human-centric approach and revenue-centric growth is essential in any organization, and HR professionals should work while safeguarding the interests of both employees and the organization.
QCFI Chairman and former DGM HR, JK Tyre & Industries, Dr. N.K. Sharma stated that HR acts as a strategic partner in the success of any organization. He highlighted inclusive work culture, equal opportunities, and a positive work environment as essential elements for long-term organizational growth.
Guests and HR professionals present at the event also shared their experiences and appreciated Geetanjali Hospital for providing such a meaningful and knowledge-oriented platform. Participants remarked that bringing HR leaders from different sectors together for dialogue, networking, and exchange of ideas is an important need of the present time.
During the event, all guests were warmly welcomed, and the program concluded with a networking session and gala dinner.
