On this occasion, a spectacular series of traditional dance performances from the northeastern states of India was presented. The lineup included Manipur’s Pung Dhol Cholom, Assam’s Bordoisila and Bihu, Meghalaya’s Wangala Dance and Kashad Masti, Tripura’s Hojagiri and Sangrai Mog, Mizoram’s Cheraw Dance, Nagaland’s Naga War Dance, Arunachal Pradesh’s Ju-Ju Jha-Jha, and Sikkim’s Singhi Cham.
More than 200 artists from these eight states participated in the performances, beautifully showcasing the vibrant cultural diversity and traditional spirit of Northeast India.
