Powerful Trailer Released for The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond

The makers have released the intense trailer for The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond, produced under Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s banner, Sunshine Pictures. The trailer opens with a chilling warning that India could become an Islamic state in the next 25 years. The story then shifts to Rajasthan, where a distressed Hindu family approaches a police station to file a POCSO complaint. They allege that their 16-year-old daughter was forcibly converted. The parents’ pain and helplessness set the emotional tone for the narrative.

From there, the story moves to Madhya Pradesh, where a Hindu girl is allegedly trapped in a deceptive marriage and forced to convert. Her silent suffering, loneliness, and broken trust paint a haunting picture of betrayal and fear.

The third part of the story takes us back to Kerala, where a Muslim boy proposes a live-in relationship to his Hindu girlfriend. When she firmly refuses to change her religion, tensions escalate. The trailer depicts intense debates and confrontations, highlighting the conflict between personal belief, faith, and individual freedom.

The film centers on the gripping stories of three Hindu girls—Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha—whose lives take a terrifying turn after falling in love with three Muslim boys. Gradually, the relationships reveal a hidden, deliberate agenda of religious conversion.

Following the massive impact of the 2022 film The Kerala Story, this next installment promises a story that is darker, bigger, and spans multiple states, exploring personal tragedies in depth.

Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, with Ashin A. Shah as co-producer. The film is set to release in theaters on 27 February.
