Udaipur, Hindustan Zinc Limited showcased its flagship CSR initiatives—Sakhi, Micro-Enterprise, and Samadhan—at the Flower Show held on the Fatehsagar Lake promenade in Udaipur, drawing overwhelming appreciation from tourists and local residents alike.

During the 10-day-long grand event, the skills of rural women and the wide range of products crafted by them captured visitors’ attention, resulting in total sales of ₹4.99 lakh. The stall witnessed a footfall of over 2 lakh visitors, reflecting strong public engagement and interest.
Under the Upaya brand, a rich collection of Ajrakh print products was displayed, including men’s and women’s apparel, laptop bags, cushion covers, document holders, and coasters—blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary utility. Visitors also showed great enthusiasm for Daychi’s pure spices, pulses, pickles, namkeen, and traditional bilona ghee produced under the Gayam initiative.
A major highlight of the exhibition was the Engagement Zone, which offered a unique blend of learning and entertainment. More than 5,000 visitors experienced live demonstrations of block printing and the traditional bilona ghee-making process, gaining first-hand insight into India’s rich artisanal heritage.
Adding a strong social dimension to the showcase, members of the Sakhi Uthori Group performed impactful street plays over two days, delivering powerful social awareness messages that deeply resonated with the audience.
