Jaipur |The 14 Rajasthan Battalion NCC has commenced its Annual Training Camp for 527 NCC cadets at Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, running from 27 May to 5 June 2025.
The camp aims to instill a regimented lifestyle and foster key character-building values such as camaraderie, teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, self-reliance, and dignity of labour among the participating cadets.
Over the course of ten days, cadets will experience the practical aspects of camp life, applying their theoretical knowledge through hands-on activities. These include foot drill, weapon training, firing practice, map reading, fire and battle craft, firefighting, and social service initiatives.
In observance of World Environment Day on 5 June, cadets will actively participate in a cleanliness drive and tree plantation program, demonstrating their commitment to environmental responsibility. Additionally, drawing from the experiences of ‘Operation Sindoor’, cadets will receive specialized training in civil defence techniques.
The camp not only serves as a platform for military training but also emphasizes the work ethos of the Defence Services, focusing on discipline, integrity, secularism, adventure, sportsmanship, and selfless service—equipping cadets to become responsible and dynamic citizens of the nation.
