Jaipur: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has announced a special pilgrimage tour from Jaipur aboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, covering Tirupati, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, and the Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga.

IRCTC Regional Deputy General Manager, Shri Yogendra Singh Gurjar, stated that during this tour, devotees will visit prominent religious sites, including Sri Venkateswara Temple (Tirupati), Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple (Rameshwaram), Meenakshi Temple (Madurai), Kanyakumari (Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandap, Sunset Point), and Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga (Markapur). A total of 780 berths have been allocated for the journey—380 in Standard category and 400 in Comfort category.

The pilgrimage departs Jaipur on 9 April 2026, with boarding available at Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, and Ratlam. The 12-day, 11-night tour concludes on 20 April. The package includes 3AC class train travel (Economy), vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner, local sightseeing by AC and non-AC buses, hotel accommodations, and laundry/change facilities.

• Standard Category: ₹31,005 per adult; ₹27,905 per child (5–11 years) – includes 3AC train travel, non-AC budget hotel accommodations on double/triple sharing basis, and non-AC bus transport.

• Comfort Category: ₹36,320 per adult; ₹32,685 per child (5–11 years) – includes 3AC train travel, AC budget hotel accommodations on double/triple sharing basis, and AC bus transport.

The tour also offers LTC (Leave Travel Concession) and EMI options. EMI facilities can be availed through government and private banks listed on the IRCTC portal.
