New Delhi: The first coffee table book on Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, highlighting his life, vision, and invaluable contributions to nation-building, titled “Atal Bihari Vajpayee: The Eternal Statesman”, was launched today in a prestigious ceremony at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.
The event was graced by Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan as the Chief Guest, along with the Governors of Rajasthan Shri Haribhau Bagde, Bihar Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, and Haryana Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, as well as eminent politician Dr. M. M. Joshi.
The ceremony commenced with a lamp lighting by Governors Haribhau Bagde, Arif Mohammad Khan, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, and Dr. M. M. Joshi, marking the formal inauguration of the book.
In his address, Governor Haribhau Bagde expressed, “I consider myself extremely fortunate to have witnessed Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee closely and spent time with him. Atal Ji was a visionary statesman whose ideas, conduct, and actions elevated Indian democracy to new heights.”
The coffee table book, authored by former Union Minister Shri Vijay Goyal, showcases Shri Vajpayee’s public life, exemplary governance, diplomatic vision, and literary persona through rare photographs and documents. It is designed to serve as a source of inspiration for future generations, celebrating the enduring legacy of one of India’s greatest leaders.
