Meeting at North Western Railway Headquarters on Service Resolution Passed by the Prime Minister’s Office

Jaipur: A meeting was held on Monday at the headquarters of North Western Railway to discuss the implementation of the Service Resolution passed by the Union Cabinet at the new Prime Minister’s Office, “Seva Teerth.”

According to Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan, the meeting was chaired by General Manager Amitabh at the North Western Railway Headquarters. During the session, the Service Resolution adopted in the first Cabinet meeting at the new Prime Minister’s Office “Seva Teerth” was formally read out, and participants reaffirmed their moral commitment to its implementation. The resolution was read by Chief Personnel Officer (Administration) Vinod Kumar.

Addressing the gathering, the General Manager described the resolution as highly inspiring. He stated that it outlines the roadmap toward achieving the vision of a “Developed India 2047” and clearly explains how resources should be utilized effectively. He emphasized that the resolution reinforces the sense of responsibility as citizens of the country and as employees of the Government of India.

He further highlighted that while discharging their responsibilities, officials must focus on how optimal use of resources can benefit the Railways, increase railway revenue, and enhance passenger services. He stressed that every task undertaken should ultimately serve the public and the customer, reaffirming their commitment to citizen-centric governance.

The meeting was attended by Additional General Manager Ashok Maheshwari, Principal Chief Personnel Officer P.K. Singh, along with all department heads and senior officers of the headquarters.

For effective implementation of the Service Resolution, similar readings and discussions were also organized across all divisions and workshops under North Western Railway.
