Successful Trial of Ghatoli-Nayagaon Section at 120 km/hr Speed Conducted by CRS - Senior DRM Rohit Malviya

The Railway Protection Commissioner for the Central Region, Manoj Arora, conducted a motor trolley inspection in the Ghatoli-Nayagaon section. The regional public warmly welcomed the Railway Protection Commissioner, showing their appreciation by applying tilak and wearing clean attire. This 15-kilometer stretch features six major railway overbridges, a 9-kilometer-long high cutting, a long tunnel, and a 20-meter-high embankment. As part of the Ramganjmandi to Bhopal new electrified line project, an interim trial was conducted by the Railway Protection Commissioner on the Ghatoli-Nayagaon section at a speed of 120 km/hr. The Railway Protection Commissioner conducted a thorough inspection of all bridges, tracks, OHE (overhead equipment), and tunnels from a safety perspective.

From March 12, 2024, passenger trains are being operated on the expanded line from Jhalawar City to Aklera. The Kota Mandal is actively working to accelerate the doubling of lines and the development of new projects.

During the CRS inspection, senior divisional railway manager R.R.K. Singh of the upper divisional railway Kota, along with headquarters officials including CEE & CED, Dy CRS Electrical, Dy CRS S&T, CE/Telecom & SSE/Tele, CEO/CR Manoj Kumar Agrawal, Chief Project Manager Vijay Pandey, Deputy Chief Engineer/Construction Gaurav Mishra, and Senior Divisional Operating Manager Saurabh Jain, Senior Divisional Security Officer Vinod Kumar Meena, and other related officials were present.
