Collector Poswal Attends District-Level Public Hearing in Jhadol

Udaipur: District Collector Arvind Poswal visited the Jhadol sub-district area for a public hearing session and inspection of government offices, emphasizing important directives on Thursday.

Arriving in Jhadol this morning, Collector Poswal participated in the public hearing organized in the block development office, reviewing the pending grievances and the ongoing efforts for their resolution. During this event, he instructed departmental officials to address the received cases with utmost sensitivity, ensuring prompt resolution wherever possible to provide relief to the complainants.

While on this visit, Collector Poswal also reviewed complaints registered on the Rajasthan Sampark Portal, issuing directives for the expedited resolution of pending cases. During the public hearing held on Thursday, 24 complaints were presented, out of which 19 were resolved on the spot, providing relief to the general public.

A notable case involved a resident named Badi Bai from Bedanpada, who was facing difficulties with two electricity bills issued by the electricity department. Despite multiple complaints, the issue remained unresolved. Taking immediate action, the Collector personally intervened and instructed officials to provide relief to the petitioner on the spot.

In another instance, a person was denied social pension due to issues with fingerprint recognition. Following the Collector's directives, the longstanding issue, dating back seven months, was promptly resolved, reinstating the pension for the individual.

Additionally, after the public hearing, Collector Poswal inspected the Panchayat Samiti office, reviewing various departments and gathering information on pending cases from department heads. He emphasized the importance of timely attendance and sincere efforts in official duties to all staff members. During the inspection of the Panchayat branch, he also reviewed community and individual forest rights issues, ensuring both pending and resolved cases were properly documented.

Officials including Manilal Tirgar, Sub-Divisional Officer, Mukesh Kumar Paramar, Development Officer, and Bhagwan Lal Kumhar, Additional Development Officer, were present during the inspection at the Main Block Education Office.
