Udaipur: Extensive preparations are underway for the inauguration of the newly constructed Rashtra Mandir and the celebration of the two-day Satyarth Prakash Mahotsav at Navlakha Mahal, the historic workplace of Maharshi Dayanand. Maharshi Dayanand authored more than 30 scriptures during his lifetime, with Satyarth Prakash being his most prominent work, composed at this very site. Several innovative projects and developments have recently been completed here to honor his legacy.
A state-of-the-art museum featuring silicon statues of the brave martyrs inspired by Maharshi Dayanand has been constructed by MDH Chairman Mahashay Rajeev Gulati. Named Rashtra Mandir, the museum will be inaugurated by him on February 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Additionally, a two-day Satyarth Prakash Mahotsav is scheduled to be held later in the year, drawing participation from across India and abroad.
To ensure smooth execution, a preparatory meeting of trustees of the Shrimad Dayanand Satyarth Prakash Nyas and local volunteers was held at Navlakha Mahal. Arrangements for accommodation in various Udaipur hotels, along with complimentary meals and refreshments for guests, have been finalized.
Nyas Minister Bhawanidas Arya informed that Mahashay Rajeev Gulati will arrive at Udaipur Airport by private jet at 9:00 AM on February 22 and will be welcomed with a ceremonial motorcycle rally from Pratapnagar via Sevashram and Surajpol to Gulab Bagh.
Union ministers, Members of Parliament, Rajasthan ministers and legislators, administrative officials, and distinguished guests from India and abroad are expected to attend. Nyas President Ashok Arya stated that multiple committees—covering accommodation, food, decoration, stage management, sanitation, and yajna arrangements—have been formed for systematic organization.
From Gulab Bagh to Navlakha Mahal, decorative lighting, painting, and floral pathway arrangements are being completed, while renovation work has given Navlakha Mahal a grand and elegant appearance.
The meeting was attended by trustee Sharda Gupta, Treasurer Narayan Lal Mittal, Joint Minister Dr. Amritlal Tapadia, Office Minister Bhanwarlal Garg, Priest Navneet Arya, Accountant Divyesh Suthar, along with several other members and volunteers.
