Udaipur: With the support of Life Progressive Society, Sahar Charitable Foundation, and other contributors, food supplies were distributed twice after Iftar to more than 250 needy families and persons with disabilities from different religions and communities.
Secretary Fatima Agwani said that, apart from Udaipur, food supplies were also distributed in nearby villages and towns including Mahuwaada, Palana, Fatehnagar, Kapasan, Nathdwara, and Rajsamand.
President Dr. Khalil Agwani announced that an Interfaith Mass Marriage Conference will be organized in May 2026. He also shared that under the joint initiative of Life Progressive Society and Sahar Charitable Foundation, the educational fees of seven students were directly deposited in their respective schools and colleges during February–March 2026. These students are currently pursuing studies in B.Sc. Nursing, NEET coaching, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, General Nursing, and B.A.
Secretary Fatima Agwani further informed that employment-related training programs will begin in April.
On this occasion, Vice President Mohinuddin Qureshi, Secretary Fatima Agwani, Deputy Secretary Haji Aqeel Mohammad, Treasurer Sajia, and Executive Member Sajid Qureshi were present.
The President also mentioned that during the month of Ramadan, the entire food distribution work was successfully carried out under the supervision of Secretary Fatima Agwani and Executive Member Sajid Qureshi. Additionally, 25 dupattas were distributed with support from Shanu Khan, proprietor of Bharatiya Fashion.
