Women’s Wing of Suroon Ki Mandali Creates History

Udaipur: The prestigious music organization Suroon Ki Mandali from the Lake City of Udaipur has brought glory to the city by setting a new international milestone. The women’s wing of the organization has earned a place in the International Book of Records for an extraordinary musical achievement.

Founder President Mukesh Madhwani said that this achievement is a matter of pride for both Udaipur and Rajasthan. He added that the organization has always worked to provide a platform for women’s musical talent, and the women’s wing has reached this historic milestone through dedication, discipline, and commitment.

Women’s Wing coordinator Madhu Kelvaniya described the recognition as a proud honor for music lovers of Udaipur. She said that the International Book of Records award is not just a record but a global recognition of Udaipur’s cultural identity, women’s talent, and their passion for music. She expressed confidence that this achievement will inspire more women to pursue music in the future.

The organization received this recognition in the category “Longest Time to Perform Relay Singing by the Largest Group of Women.” Under this record, 225 women performed relay singing continuously for four hours, creating a world record.

This historic achievement was accomplished on March 31, 2026, in Udaipur during a special event.

Secretary Arun Chaubisa stated that extensive preparations had been made over a long period to achieve this record. All participating women practiced continuously to ensure the success of the collective performance. During the event, the participants mesmerized the audience with uninterrupted singing for four hours with great enthusiasm and energy.

Treasurer Yogesh Upadhyay highlighted the unity, dedication, and teamwork displayed by the women during the event. He added that the organization will continue to organize such cultural and musical programs in the future to help local talent gain national and international recognition.

Prominent participants in this historic achievement included Madhu Kelvaniya, Mona Karva, Divya Saraswat, Asma Begum, Neelam Kaushal, Neelam Patwa, Ranjana Bhati, Nisha Rathore, Hema Joshi, Jyotsna Jhala, and Madhu Sharma.
