Udaipur: Anjuman Taleemul Islam, Udaipur, has taken a historic step to advance the city’s progressive, aware, and inclusive environment. A significant meeting was held with the Anjuman Cabinet in the presence of women from diverse backgrounds, professions, and sectors of society, where in-depth discussions were conducted on expanding women’s education, awareness, empowerment, and skill development.
In a unanimous decision, it was resolved that for better organization and impactful work among women, a separate women’s wing – “Anjuman Rifaat Unnisa (Anjuman Nisa)” would be established for the first time in the history of the Anjuman. This initiative opens a new avenue for women’s empowerment and social development in the city.
The historic meeting saw participation from experts in health and medical fields, professors, teachers, principals, advocates, retired government officials, businesswomen, politically active women, and social workers, all sharing their experiences and valuable suggestions. The participation of women from every profession and community demonstrates that this initiative is not just for a single community but aims to create a new social benchmark for the entire city of Udaipur.
Anjuman Taleemul Islam stated that the formation of the women’s wing will enable organized and effective progress in areas such as education, upbringing, self-defense, skill development, solutions to domestic issues, health awareness, and community building.
The organization expressed hope that this new initiative will help Muslim women in the city realize their full potential and strengthen their contribution and advancement in society. This step is not only a matter of pride for the Anjuman but also sets an exemplary standard of social cohesion and positive thinking for the city of Udaipur.
