₹1 Lakh Cash Reward Announced For RAS Qualifiers
Emphasis Laid On Promoting Mother Tongue Among Women
Udaipur: The first meeting of the newly appointed executive committee of the Rajasthan branch of SSD Uday Academy was held at Shri Jhulelal Bhawan, Shakti Nagar.
Rajasthan branch president Ramesh Datwani informed that a motivational seminar for Class 12 passed students of the Sindhi community regarding preparation for UPSC examinations will be organized on June 7 (Sunday) at Shri Jhulelal Bhawan, Shakti Nagar, Udaipur.
Chief Patron and former Minister of State Harish Rajani announced that Sindhi youths residing in Udaipur who clear the IAS and IPS examinations in the 2027 session will be awarded a cash incentive of ₹2 lakh, while those qualifying the RAS examination will receive ₹1 lakh.
Senior Vice President Gyanendra Gyani suggested that after the seminar, the academy should remain in contact with selected students every 15 days to provide guidance and resolve their problems. He also recommended organizing seminars in different phases according to the students’ academic levels to continuously motivate them.
Secretary Dr. Deepmala Chaudhary proposed the appointment of city-level coordinators in Sindhi-dominated areas of Rajasthan. She also emphasized encouraging women of the community to adopt and promote their mother tongue while creating employment opportunities for them.
Chief Patron Harish Rajani instructed divisional vice presidents to include dedicated and active social workers from their respective regions in the organization’s team.
During the meeting, current treasurer Mrs. Shanta Kishnani was nominated as president for Udaipur district. A new treasurer will soon be appointed, and more dedicated members will be included in the Udaipur city team. Presidents for other towns will also be appointed based on the recommendations of the vice presidents.
Chief Advisor and former Vice Chancellor of University of Kota, Dr. Manoharlal Kalra, appealed to all members of the community to encourage maximum participation of youths along with their families in the upcoming seminar so they can benefit from this initiative.
