Udaipur Team Prepared for Mission-75 After Video Conference with Chief Electoral Officer

Udaipur : In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 and to ensure maximum voter participation, as per the directives of the Election Commission, the Udaipur district administration has initiated Mission-75 under the guidance of District Electoral Officer Arvind Poswal. Following a video conference with the Chief Electoral Officer, Praveen Gupta, the Sweep Coordinator held a meeting to discuss the action plan for making Mission-75 successful.

CEO Mrs. Rathore acknowledged the excellent work done by the Udaipur team in the previous Assembly elections, resulting in an increase in voter turnout. However, she emphasized the need for even more efforts this time, considering the unique dimension of Lok Sabha elections. Reviewing the booth-wise voter turnout percentages from the Lok Sabha elections 2019 and the Assembly elections 2023, she identified booths with below-average voter turnout and highlighted the importance of focusing on targeted booths under Mission-75.

She instructed to activate booth awareness groups, voter awareness forums, etc., to ensure that the message of voting reaches every individual. Discussion was also held on preparing an action plan, in collaboration with industrial, commercial, and social organizations, to ensure 100% voter turnout on Election Day through voter awareness activities.

The meeting was attended by additional chief executive officer Tahir Anjum Samma, Sweep Deputy Coordinator and District Planning Officer Puneet Sharma, Sweep District Coordinator Devi Lal Garg, and all dedicated AEROs, including ACDEO Dr. Dinesh Bansal.
