Udaipur : A three-day motivational and skill development camp, titled Sashakt Sui-Dhaaga, was successfully conducted at Namrata Skill Development Centre, inspired by the Rajasthan Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad. The camp focused on empowering tribal women from 17 remote villages, who are currently enhancing their economic status by creating beautiful embroidery on jute, elkadi, and handloom fabrics.
Out of 280 participants, 85 selected women attended the special training camp. The event was graced by Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevalramani, Dean of Law Faculty Ms. Kala Munet, Round Table Club President Mrs. Akshita Singhi, and senior representatives of the Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad, who encouraged the participants with motivational sessions and guidance.
Various sessions were held emphasizing mental, intellectual, and physical development, inspiring the women to progress with self-confidence and resilience.
The event was led by President Dr. Radhika Laddha, Vice President Mrs. Kusum Bordia, Director Mrs. Sarla Moondda, Secretary Mrs. Saroj Bafna, and Treasurer Mrs. Vimla Moondda. Camp Incharge Mrs. Venu Kaushik, along with Mrs. Purnima Kumawat, Mrs. Indira Jain, and Mrs. Shyamla Wardia, were also notably present.
As part of the initiative to promote environmental protection, fruit-bearing plants and annual encouragement incentives were distributed among all participants.
The camp concluded with the collective recitation of the Kalyan Mantra, symbolizing unity and spiritual harmony.
