Udaipur, Under the Nayi Chetna 4.0 – “Pahal Badlav Ki” campaign, a district-level sensitization programme was held on Monday at the Rural Haat premises near Reti Stand, Udaipur. Nearly 200 Poshan Sakhis from 20 blocks of the district participated with great zeal and commitment.

The event, organized under the guidance of Rajivika’s District Programme Manager Khyalilal Khatik, began with an inspiring address by DMMIB Megha Chaubisa, who appreciated the outstanding efforts of Poshan Sakhis at the CLF and VO levels. She highlighted the key activities planned under the upcoming weekly thematic segments of the campaign.

A rally carrying gender-based awareness messages was also conducted during the programme. Participants collectively pledged their commitment to equality, safety, and dignity—aimed at promoting positive behavioural changes within communities.

As part of departmental convergence, Vimla Patidar, Gender Specialist from the Women Empowerment Department, and Pooja Patidar, Supervisor from Girwa, shared insights on gender equality, shared household responsibilities, and social behaviour transformation.
Chandrakanta Paliwal, In-charge of the One Stop Centre, briefed participants on available support services, legal provisions, and safety mechanisms for women.

In her concluding remarks, Yashi Paliwal, District SBCC Coordinator, UNICEF Aravali, elaborated on the campaign’s objectives, focus areas, and strategies for effective ground-level implementation through SHGs, CLFs, and VOs.
