Udaipur: On the second day of the Amrita Haat Fair आयोजित in Udaipur, an inspiring program titled “Coffee with Brand Ambassador” was organized for girls under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme. School-going as well as out-of-school girls participated in the session and gained motivation through interaction with accomplished women. On the same occasion, the Amrita Grand Hotel, operated by a Women’s Self-Help Group, was inaugurated by the brand ambassadors.
Brand Ambassador Gauravi Singhvi, a young swimmer, researcher, and TED speaker, said, “When we dream big, great achievements become possible. The waves of the ocean taught me that no matter how big the challenges are, they can be overcome with confidence and continuous practice. Daughters can break barriers; they just need to believe in themselves.” She encouraged the girls to pursue higher education, explore global opportunities, and take on leadership roles in society.
National-level pistol shooter Palak Gurjar addressed the girls, stating, “Sports are not just about winning medals; they teach us confidence, discipline, and focus. Every girl should recognize her inner strength and move forward through education and sports.” She emphasized the importance of self-defense and self-reliance.
Young speed skater Labdhi Surana inspired the girls to practice consistently and maintain a positive mindset.
Under the Amrita Premium League at the Amrita Haat Fair, a traditional Sitoliya (Lagori) competition was organized for boys. A large number of children participated enthusiastically, displaying true sportsmanship. The aim of the event was to reconnect children with traditional games, foster team spirit, and promote physical and mental well-being. Enthusiasm, discipline, and cooperation were clearly evident throughout the competition.
During the fair, the Amrita Grand Hotel, operated by the “Shyam Shyata Group,” was formally inaugurated by the brand ambassadors. Women Self-Help Groups prepared a variety of delicious dishes that were appreciated by all guests. This initiative marks an important step toward linking women with self-employment opportunities and providing a wider platform for their products. The program saw the participation of numerous women entrepreneurs, self-help group members, girls, and distinguished guests. The entire event reflected enthusiasm, inspiration, and a strong message of women’s empowerment. The Amrita Haat Fair not only promotes women’s entrepreneurship but also inspires daughters to dream big and achieve their aspirations.
