Final Publication of Voter Lists by Assembly Constituency: Udaipur Now Has 18,04,151 Voters

Udaipur: Under the special intensive revision program 2026, announced by the Election Commission of India on 27 October 2025, the final voter lists for Udaipur district were published on Saturday. The draft voter list was initially released on 16 December 2025, showing a total of 17,66,592 registered voters. After resolving claims and objections, the final number increased to 18,04,151 voters.

District Election Officer (DEO) Namit Mehta held a meeting with representatives of recognized political parties on Saturday to share the details. He explained that as per the schedule, the counting phase was completed from 4 November to 11 December. The draft voter list was published on 16 December, followed by the receipt of claims and objections between 16 December 2025 and 15 January 2026.

During this period, Udaipur district received a total of 41,295 Form-6/6A applications (for addition of names), 3,736 Form-7 applications (for deletion of names), and 8,367 Form-8 applications (for corrections). The lists of received applications were compiled in Form-9, 10, 11, 11A, and 11B, displayed daily on the office notice board, and shared with recognized political parties. These details were also made available online on the DEO and Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) websites.

All claims and objections received from 16 December 2025 to 19 January 2026 were addressed by the Electoral Registration Officer and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer. Following this process, the final voter list for the district was published.

According to the final publication, Udaipur district now has 18,04,151 registered voters, an increase of 2.13% compared to the draft list. This includes 9,29,962 male voters, 8,74,172 female voters, and 17 transgender voters.

DEO Namit Mehta stated that on Saturday, representatives of recognized political parties were provided with a soft copy (with photographs) and a hard copy of the final voter lists for all assembly constituencies free of charge. The voter list is also available online at the official websites of the DEO and CEO Rajasthan: https://election.rajasthan.gov.in and https://voters.eci.gov.in. Voters can also verify their names online using the EPIC search facility.

Mehta further mentioned that the process of adding, deleting, or correcting names in the voter list will continue. For this, Forms 6, 7, and 8 can be submitted online via the Voters Portal or through the respective BLO. Appeals against the Electoral Registration Officer’s decisions can be filed within the period specified under the Representation of the People Act, 1950, and the Electoral Registration Rules, 1960.

The meeting was attended by representatives from various political parties, including:

  • Bharatiya Janata Party: Deepak Sharma, Shantilal Jain, Manish Sharma

  • Indian National Congress: Fatehsingh Rathore, Arun Tank, Mahendra Damor, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit

  • Aam Aadmi Party: Md. Hanif, Nirbhay Singh

  • BSP: Suresh Kumar Meghwal

  • Bharat Adivasi Party: Vimal Kharadi

  • Communist Party: Himmat Changwal

After the meeting, the DEO shared complete details of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) with print and electronic media. Electoral Registration Officer of Udaipur Rural Assembly constituency, Avula Saikrishna, was also present.
