“Karmayogini Mata Ahilya” to be Staged in Udaipur

Udaipur:** The **Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT)** is organizing a grand and inspiring theatrical production, **“Karmayogini Mata Ahilya”**, to commemorate the 300th birth anniversary of the legendary ruler and embodiment of karma-yoga, **Mata Ahilyabai Holkar** of Malwa.

This special cultural presentation, celebrating the valor of Mewar and the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan, will be staged on **Sunday, 22 February 2026 at 6 PM** at the **CCRT Regional Centre, Hawala Khurd, Badgaon, Udaipur (Rajasthan)**.

The event aims to convey Mata Ahilyabai Holkar’s extraordinary personality, dedication, service, exemplary governance, women empowerment, and vision for public welfare to the masses through a powerful theatrical medium.

The play will portray her inspirational life journey—from childhood to her illustrious reign—using expressive stagecraft. Through classical theatrical techniques, the essence of Rajasthani folk traditions, emotive dialogues, live music, vibrant costumes, and grand stage design, the performance will connect the audience to the golden era of history while encouraging deep reflection.
