Udaipur: The efforts of Rahda Foundation to raise awareness about women’s health and prevent cervical cancer have achieved national prominence, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a nationwide HPV vaccination campaign in Ajmer today. The campaign marks a historic step toward protecting women and girls from serious illnesses like cervical cancer.
Notably, during the pre-budget consultation held by the Rajasthan government in Jaipur, Archana Singh Charan, founder of Rahda Foundation, submitted a detailed and concrete proposal focused on women’s health, prevention of HPV infections, and cervical cancer awareness and vaccination. Today, as this initiative takes shape as a national campaign, it reflects the vision and effectiveness of the Foundation’s efforts.
Mrs. Charan stated that Rahda Foundation has long been working in both rural and urban areas on women’s health, menstrual hygiene, and cancer awareness. The launch of the HPV vaccination campaign will accelerate these efforts and serve as a milestone toward a safer and healthier future for women.
The Foundation has urged the public to spread awareness about vaccinating girls, actively participate in the campaign, and help make women’s health a social priority. Mrs. Charan emphasized, “This is not just a vaccination program, but a mass movement for the protection, dignity, and empowerment of women’s lives, and Rahda Foundation will continue to play a leading role in this awareness campaign.”
