Grand Programs by Jain Schoolchildren and Women on March 8: Quiz, Teacher Honors, and Theatrical Performances

Udaipur: As part of the celebrations for “Bhagwan Adinath Janm Kalyanak Mahamahotsav” – Prathamesh 2026, a series of grand events is being organized, with the main program scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at 6:00 PM at the Sukhadia Rangmanch, Town Hall, featuring a theatrical evening presented by women titled “Brahmi Sundari”.

Earlier in the day, at 9:00 AM, all Jain schoolchildren in Udaipur will participate in a Quiz and Teacher Honor Ceremony, held at Adishwar Riveria Residential Apartments, located opposite Peace Park Apartment, Sector 4, Hiran Magri, New Vidya Nagar, BSNL Road.

The event’s patrons Paras Singhvi, Chairman Rajesh Devda, and Shantilal Gangawat announced that the program coordinators will be Arun Lunadia, Ankit Shastri, Samrat Shastri, Manoj Champawat, Gitesh Damawat, and Preetesh Jain.

The evening cultural program will be organized by Digambar Jain women’s organizations of Udaipur under the title “An Evening for Brahmi Sundari.” It will feature dance-drama performances based on the life stories of great women saints of the Jain community, presented as a cultural competition at the Sukhadia Rangmanch.

During the event, the Mewar Jain Yuva Sansthan will honor distinguished women with the Nari Gaurav Alankaran on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The unique aspect of this program is that all coordination and management will be carried out by women, led by the women’s cell of the organization.

The program will be graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Tarika Patni, with distinguished guests including Dr. Jyoti Jain, Ratan Devi Navdia, Dr. Jyotsna Jain, and Saroj Soni Manju Gadawat.

This celebration highlights women’s leadership, cultural pride, and student participation, making it a landmark event in the city’s festive calendar.
