Udaipur: A review meeting on the progress and implementation of state government flagship schemes was held on Tuesday at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Gaurav Agrawal.
The District Collector directed officials to ensure that flagship schemes of the state government are implemented effectively, emphasizing that these schemes play a crucial role in improving the standard of living of the general public. He stated that any negligence in their execution would not be tolerated and instructed all departments to implement the schemes with full seriousness and responsibility. During the meeting, a detailed review of the progress of various flagship schemes run by different departments was conducted.
Mr. Agrawal highlighted that schemes such as the National Food Security Scheme, Lado Protsahan Yojana, Kusum Yojana, agriculture and horticulture-related schemes, the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Swachh Bharat Mission, and Panch Gaurav are directly connected to the public. Ensuring their effective implementation is the administration’s primary responsibility.
He instructed officials to conduct regular monitoring and follow-up at the field level to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach the last person. He also directed the CEO of the District Council to use ward-level meetings in villages to spread awareness about welfare schemes and connect eligible beneficiaries.
The Collector made it clear that wherever progress is unsatisfactory, the reasons must be analyzed and immediate corrective measures should be taken. He also emphasized adopting innovative approaches and finding local solutions to challenges. Officials were asked to submit inter-departmental and state-level issues related to the schemes in writing so that they can be resolved promptly and progress can be accelerated.
The meeting included detailed discussions on departmental targets, achievements so far, and action plans for achieving targets in the new financial year, along with necessary guidelines.
Additional District Magistrate (City) Jitendra Ojha, District Council CEO Virmaram, CPO Mahavir Prasad, and officers from all concerned departments were present at the meeting.
