Take Complaints Seriously: District Collector

Udaipur: District Collector Gaurav Agrawal instructed officials to handle complaints registered on the Sampark Portal with complete seriousness. He emphasized that instead of giving brief or formal replies, officials should upload detailed responses along with all necessary documents, ensuring that complainants are satisfied with the resolution.

Collector Agrawal was addressing the weekly review meeting of district-level officers held on Monday afternoon at the Mini Auditorium of the Collectorate. During the meeting, he reviewed pending cases on the Sampark Portal department-wise and officer-wise. He also asked officials to open the Sampark app on their mobile phones and reviewed it on the spot.

He further directed all district-level officers to monitor their subordinate staff to ensure timely and quality disposal of complaints assigned to them through the portal. The Collector presented examples of both effective and poor complaint resolutions. He issued strict warnings to those officers who had disposed of complaints with only formal replies, stating that if relief has been provided to the complainant, all related documents must also be uploaded. This helps ensure transparency and satisfaction of the complainant.

The meeting also included a review of pending cases at the Prime Minister’s Office, Chief Minister’s Office, and various commission levels. Additionally, cases from the recently held District Public Grievance Redressal and Vigilance Committee, as well as complaints received during public hearings, were reviewed, and necessary instructions were given.

The meeting was attended by ADM (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM (City) Jitendra Ojha, Girwa SDM Avula Sai Krishna, UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar, CEO Virma Ram, along with all concerned district-level officials.
