####Sukhadia University Achieves New Milestone – Launches Employment-Oriented Courses

Udaipur,In line with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), Mohanlal Sukhadia University has taken a significant step towards connecting youth with industry-oriented learning. Under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra, the College of Commerce and Management Studies has launched Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programs (AEDP).

The newly introduced programs include:

• B.Com. in Retail Operations Management

• B.Com. in Logistics Management

• B.Com. in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance

• BBA in Tourism & Hospitality Management

Integration of Theory and Practical Training

Prof. Mishra emphasized that these courses are designed not only to provide theoretical knowledge but also to equip students with hands-on industry experience. At the undergraduate level itself, students will get opportunities to engage with leading companies, enhancing their employability and career readiness.

Stipend During Apprenticeship

One of the major highlights of these programs is the industry apprenticeship module at the end of the degree. During this period, students will receive stipends from companies, enabling them to gain real-time exposure while also becoming financially independent alongside their studies.

Prof. B.L. Verma, Dean of Commerce and Nodal Officer of AEDP, stated that these programs are fully aligned with NEP and will prove to be a landmark initiative in the history of Sukhadia University.
