Udaipur – The Alumni Association of Matsyaki College, Guru Govind Singh Marg, Surajpol, Udaipur (COFUAA) has successfully completed elections and formed its new executive committee for the term 2025–2027. According to the notification issued by the Returning Officer, Prof. (Dr.) Subodh Sharma, OSD to Vice-Chancellor (MPUAT) and former Dean of the College of Fisheries, Udaipur, a single nomination was received for each of the six posts. As per rules, all candidates were declared elected unopposed.
The newly elected office-bearers include Naresh Kumar Mehta as President, Naresh Puri as Vice-President, Nayan Chauhan as General Secretary, Bhavesh Chaudhary as Joint Secretary, Anil Singh Shekhawat as Treasurer, and Narpad Chaudhary as Financial Advisor. The new committee will assume office immediately and work in accordance with the COFUAA constitution and by-laws, focusing on alumni welfare, student support, and overall institutional development.
President Dr. Naresh Kumar Mehta stated that the Matsyaki College Alumni Council, established in 2023, aims to bring former students together on a common platform and promote innovation, collaboration, and education in the field of fisheries science. College Patron Dr. R.L. Soni extended his best wishes to the Returning Officer and all newly elected office-bearers, noting that this team will strengthen communication and collaboration between the alumni and the institution.
