Udaipur. With the objective of enhancing students’ overall skill development and employability, a special training programme titled “SKILL UP PROGRAM: EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION” was organised at Pacific Polytechnic College, under the aegis of Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University.

Dr. Mukesh Shrimali, Director of Pacific Polytechnic College, informed that the programme was funded by Infosys under its leading CSR initiative and implemented by Centum Foundation, with successful collaboration from Innovation Comes Jointly (ICJ). The programme was conducted under the expert training of Mr. Abhishek Kumar, who served as the chief trainer.

The primary objective of the programme was to empower students who face challenges in securing employment due to lack of experience, confidence, or relevant skills. As an implementing partner, ICJ is committed to bridging the skill gap and improving the employability of unemployed youth. Under the Infosys CSR initiative, final-year students were provided free, job-oriented skill training.

The 60-hour comprehensive training module covered a wide range of essential topics, including soft skills, digital literacy, finance for non-finance students, communication skills, time and people management, interview skills, planning and prioritisation, email etiquette, profile building, and an introduction to Artificial Intelligence.

On this occasion, Prof. Hemant Kothari of Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University stated that the programme is an excellent initiative to equip students with practical and industry-oriented skills, which will play a vital role in shaping their bright future and contributing to nation-building.

Dr. Shankar Chaudhary, Director – Training & Placement, congratulated the students on the successful completion of the training programme.
