Virtual Job Fair Concludes at Pacific University; Over 200 Students Selected

Udaipur : Sunday turned out to be a day of joy for job-seeking students as the five-day Virtual Job Fair 2025, organized by Pacific University, concluded successfully, setting a new benchmark in connecting students with recruiters. Over 90 national and international companies participated in the event, offering more than 2,500 job openings across various sectors. It marked the first virtual job fair of its kind in South Rajasthan where so many companies conducted interviews for placements simultaneously.

Companies offered salary packages ranging from 4 to 7 LPA, and prestigious international firms from Japan and Spain also participated, selecting talented candidates and providing them opportunities to work abroad.

Patron Prof. B.P. Sharma stated that the university’s goal is not just to deliver quality education, but to ensure students receive real-world career outcomes for their efforts. The enthusiasm shown by both students and companies was a testament to the students’ industry readiness.

President of Pacific University, Prof. Hemant Kothari, said the fair gained global recognition due to participation from companies across India and abroad. The opportunities offered through this event would lay the foundation for students’ successful careers.

Students from diverse streams such as B.Tech, MBA, M.Com, MCA, BCA, B.Com, Law, B.Pharm, Polytechnic Diploma, BA, MA, Hotel Management, Fire & Safety, and Education took part in the fair. Based on skills and career profiles, candidates were shortlisted for different roles.

Director of Placements, Dr. Shankar Chaudhary, shared that the university communicated with companies this year keeping in mind industry demands and skill gaps. As a result of the collective efforts of the placement team and students, over 200 students were selected, and 45 students received final appointment letters after clearing multiple selection rounds.
