Sriganganagar. Under the Special Summary Revision Programme–2026 initiated by the Election Commission of India, enumeration work is progressing across the Sriganganagar district. Guided and inspired by Chief Electoral Officer Shri Naveen Mahajan, all assembly constituencies in the district are actively engaged in the distribution, collection, and digitisation of enumeration forms. District Election Officer Dr. Manju is continuously monitoring the process to ensure the quality of all tasks.
In compliance with the directives of the District Election Officer and with the aim of making the special revision programme more effective, an innovative initiative has been launched to identify and honour the best-performing Booth Level Officers (BLOs) by awarding them certificates of appreciation. The District Election Officer herself is recognising and felicitating outstanding BLOs, supervisors, and volunteers during inspections across different assembly constituencies. As of Wednesday, 4 PM, 160 BLOs have successfully completed 100 percent of the assigned work. Those who have shown commendable performance were honoured by the District Election Officer.
The District Election Officer has instructed all Electoral Registration Officers of the assembly constituencies to promptly recognise and reward BLOs who complete their tasks on time with quality and accuracy. This will help maintain the morale of BLOs and all staff involved. She stated that this initiative is showing very positive results. The honoured BLOs are emerging as role models, inspiring others to bring more seriousness, transparency, and efficiency to their work.
