Action Taken on Misuse of Domestic LPG Cylinders by the Logistics Department

Sri Ganganagar: The Logistics Department has taken strict action against the misuse of domestic LPG cylinders. District Logistics Officer Kavita Sihag stated that, following the directives of District Collector Dr. Manju, a special campaign was launched on 16 February 2026 to curb the commercial misuse of domestic LPG cylinders, during which various establishments were inspected.
She informed that during the campaign, departmental teams carried out 6 enforcement actions and found misuse of 15 domestic LPG cylinders. Specifically, two actions in Sector 17 resulted in the seizure of 7 cylinders, including 1 cylinder on Durga Mandir Road and 7 cylinders in the Old Residential Area.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to prevent illegal commercial use of domestic LPG and ensure its proper distribution for household purposes.
