Sri Ganganagar – The 72nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Ganganagar Central Cooperative Bank was held on Thursday at Amar Palace, presided over by the Bank Administrator and District Collector, Dr. Manju.
The meeting was attended by Managing Director Mr. Sanjay Garg, Assistant District Collector Ms. Swati Gupta, and representatives from various cooperative committees under the bank’s operational area. The Managing Director began by welcoming and felicitating all members. With the permission of the Administrator, the proceedings of the AGM commenced.
During the meeting, discussions were held and proposals were approved on several agenda items, including:
Confirmation of the proceedings of the previous AGM
Audited Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets for 2023-24 and 2024-25
Budget, DAP, CAR, Reserve Borrowing Power
Appointment of auditors
Key suggestions and demands from committee representatives included:
Mr. Munsaf Ali Rath, President of Sadulshahar Purchase & Sale Cooperative Committee, proposed increasing bank loan limits for new members from ₹15,000 to ₹50,000.
Mr. Rajaram Poonia, President of Raghunathpura Gram Seva Cooperative Committee, requested that fertilizers from IFFCO and KRIBHCO be distributed 100% through cooperative committees. He also proposed forming a committee, including the bank MD, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Department, and Agriculture Department officials, to ensure efficient fertilizer distribution for farmers.
Mr. Narpati Singh, President of Bilochia Gram Seva Cooperative Committee, suggested maximum loan distribution under the Gopal Loan Scheme for farmers.
Mr. Nirmal Singh Barad, President of Ladhuwala Gram Seva Cooperative Committee, recommended holding the general meeting annually.
Additional suggestions were made by Mr. Lakhvinder Singh Lakhiya, President of 40 Gram Seva Cooperative Committee Limited, and other committee heads.
The Bank Administrator and District Collector thanked all committee presidents for their contributions and assured meaningful solutions to the issues raised. They also extended Holi greetings to all attendees.
