Rajasthan Day: MLA Shri Bihani Inaugurates ODOP Exhibition

Sri Ganganagar: As part of district-level programs celebrating Rajasthan Day, a One District-One Product (ODOP) exhibition was inaugurated on Sunday at the Information & Public Relations Office. The exhibition was formally opened with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Sri Ganganagar MLA Shri Jaydeep Bihani and other dignitaries. Organized by the district administration and the District Industry & Commerce Center, the exhibition will remain open for public viewing from 15 to 19 March 2026.

The exhibition was visited by MLA Shri Jaydeep Bihani, CEO of the District Council Shri Girdhar Beniwal, Smt. Priyanka Balan, Shri Ashutosh Gupta, Shri Ratanlal Ganeshgarhia, Shri Pradeep Dherad, Shri Rajkumar Soni, and Shri Anwar Khan, who examined the ODOP stalls and gathered detailed information about the products on display.

MLA Shri Bihani praised the exhibition, emphasizing that, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is committed to preserving the state’s rich cultural heritage while pursuing all-round development. The exhibition not only highlights the “Panch Gaurav”—showcasing Rajasthan’s natural heritage—but also presents government initiatives for its conservation in a comprehensive manner.

Other dignitaries present included UIT Secretary Shri Ashok Asija, CDEO Shri Arvinder Singh, Joint Director of Animal Husbandry Dr. Arvind Mittal, RECO RM Shri M.C. Meena, Assistant Director of Women Empowerment Shri Vijay Kumar, Lead District Manager Shri Mukesh Jangda, Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes Shri Sannypratap Tripathi, RSLDC District Coordinator Shri Surendra Kumar, RMGB Representative Shri Ashwini, Forest Department RO Shri Santosh Yadav, District Industry & Commerce GM Shri Harish Mittal, industrialists Shri Gaurav Gupta, Shri Aditya Chitalangia, Shri Jyoti Kanda, Shri Rajkumar Jain (Tantia Group), Dr. Krishnakumar Ashu, along with scouts, guides, and students.

During the event, various district ODOP products were showcased by RAJIVIKA, Horticulture, Forest, Tourism, Sports Departments, and mustard oil units. Stalls were also set up by PNB and RMGB Banks, providing a platform to promote local products and entrepreneurship.
