Sri Ganganagar: In accordance with the directives of the State Government, special religious programs were organized on Wednesday under the theme “12 Years of Trust, Development, and Public Welfare” to mark the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s tenure. Special prayer ceremonies were held at various temples across Sri Ganganagar district, including Shri Jagdamba Blind School at the district headquarters, where dignitaries and devotees prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the nation and the state.
Temples were specially decorated for the occasion, and members of the public participated enthusiastically in the events.
Special programs were organized at temples managed and administered by the Devasthan Department. During the ceremonies, guests offered prayers for public welfare, good health, and social harmony.
According to the Devasthan Department, a special prayer gathering was held at Shri Jagdamba Blind School in Sri Ganganagar, attended by Sadulshahar MLA Shri Gurveer Brar, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Shri Subhash Kumar, Shri Rajkumar Soni, and other dignitaries. On the occasion, MLA Shri Brar highlighted the public welfare achievements of both the Central and State Governments and prayed for the continued prosperity of the people and the state. The ceremony included Vedic chanting, special prayers, and an aarti.
Among those present were Maharaj Swami Shri Nijanand of Jagdamba Blind School, Shri Dheeraj Chawla, Shri Deepak Kukkad, Shri Nemichand Verma, Devasthan Department Inspector Shri Salim, Junior Assistant Shri Karni Singh, and several other attendees.
Similarly, a special prayer program was held at Shri Sadashiv Temple in Anupgarh, attended by Smt. Priyanka Bailan, Shri Mukesh Sharma, Neetu Rathore, Shri Surjit Singh Sokhi, Shri Parmanand Gaur, Shri Sunil Daal, Maya Prajapat, Shri Yogendra Dhoodiya, Shri Tilak Raj Chugh, Shri Banshilal Saraswat, Shri Chiranjilal Vanshiwal, Shri Ramdhan Swami, Shri B.S. Dhillon, Shri Saurabh Setia, and others.
At the Shiv Temple in Raisinghnagar, Shri Balveer Luthra, SDM Shri Subhash Chandra Chaudhary, and other dignitaries participated in the worship ceremony.
As part of the district-wide observance, prayer programs were also organized at Hanuman Temple in Nahri Colony, Sadulshahar; Khejri Balaji Temple in Suratgarh; Jai Shri Hanuman Chanana Dham in Padampur; Nanaksar Gurudwara in Sri Karanpur; Shri Karni Mata Temple in Gharsana; and Khatu Shyam Temple in Sri Vijaynagar. Local public representatives, administrative officials, and citizens actively participated in these events and offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and public welfare.
