"Emotional Transformation: Path to Sanctity"

On the Town Hall Grounds, a grand observance of the Annual Mahaparva will occur on Sunday.
Featuring a recitation of the Original Kalpa Sutra, depictions of the life stories of the Tirthankars, and the event of Samvatsari Aaloyana.

Udaipur, Nation's revered saint, Shri ChandraPrabh, mentioned that there are two paths to life - the path of a saint and a householder. It's not significant whether one lives a saintly life or a householder's life; what matters is the quality of life one leads. Though householders, individuals like Janak, Bharat, and Punya lived life akin to that of saints, while some, despite being saints, become entangled in the worldliness. Mahavir, for instance, is renounced in his prime youth of 30 years, while on the other hand, a 70-year-old man gets entrapped in the illusion of desires. By merely changing attire, one might or might not become a saint, but by transforming one's emotions, one can become a saint while remaining a householder. During the Paryushan Parva, listening to the life stories of the Tirthankars leads to a shift in human emotions, often turning a householder into a saint.

Sant Pravar, on Saturday, addressed the congregation in the Town Hall Grounds on the seventh day of Paryushan Parva, expounding the messages from the Kalpa Sutra about the life journeys of Tirthankars. He stated that God has given us two hands. On the one hand, accumulate wealth to become Alexander, and with the other hand, earn the wealth of tranquility to become Mahavir. One must be cautious while rising; others lift the person's body when someone dies. One must be cautious while rising, for rising is just an indication that something else will rise. One has already risen, and be cautious; your turn is coming too. People don't go to cremate to express mourning but to be ready in case they're needed in the next cremation.

Encouraging the repositioning of temples and cremation grounds, Sant Pravar stated that temples should be located outside the city, enabling individuals to worship the divine in tranquility. Cremation grounds should be placed amidst the city, encouraging individuals to distance themselves from lies, deceit, and the sentiment of 'mine and yours,' thus enabling them to remember, "I too shall come here." Whether it's a millionaire or a commoner, the method of entering and leaving remains the same, so why complain? A person who used to trade land and clothes and a person who used to sell clothes, both might get only two square yards of land and a two-yard-long shroud at the time of death, considering themselves fortunate. No one knows what will be the end of this body and material possessions. If a man gives up ogling and women give up taunts, the earth could turn into heaven while living a householder's life.

As Sant Pravar recounted the life histories of Tirthankars Parshvanath Bhagwan, Neminath Bhagwan, and Adinath Bhagwan, the devotees were absorbed in listening, attaining self-realization.

As per President Raj Lodha, the Samvatsari Mahaparva will be celebrated in the Town Hall Grounds on Sunday. Commencing with a procession at 8:45 AM from the main entrance of Town Hall, devotees will offer Badhavana. Sant Pravar will recite the Original Kalpa Sutra, followed by showcasing depictions of the life stories of the Tirthankars and the Samvatsari Aaloyana. A public felicitation ceremony will also honor 30 individuals observing fasts for eight days.
