Divisional Commissioner Unveils Team T-Shirt

Rajasthan Lacrosse Team Leaves for Jammu to Defend Federation Cup Title

Udaipur: The Rajasthan Lacrosse Team has departed for Jammu to defend its title at the 2nd Federation Cup Tournament, scheduled from December 5 to 7, 2025, in Katra, Jammu. The team completed an intensive training and adaptation camp at the Maharana Pratap Sports Complex, organized jointly by the Rajasthan Lacrosse Association and the Udaipur district administration.

Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani unveiled the official team T-shirt and extended her best wishes to the players before their departure.

According to Association President Ashok Parnami, both the men’s and women’s teams from Rajasthan had emerged victorious in the inaugural Federation Cup. This year too, the squad aims to retain its championship title.

In a significant gesture of support, the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Haribhau Kishanrao Bagde, sanctioned ₹10.20 lakh from his discretionary fund. The amount was approved based on the Divisional Commissioner’s recommendation, recognizing the consistent achievements of tribal-region athletes at national and international levels.

The 28-member Rajasthan contingent features several international players. Sunita Meena will lead the women’s team, while Mohanlal Gameti will captain the men’s squad. Neeraj Batra serves as the team coach.
