Jaisalmer, : A statue unveiling ceremony of late Sabal Singh was organized at Falsund in Jaisalmer district on March 8, 2026. Maharaja Gaj Singh Rathore of Jodhpur attended the event as the chief guest. Thousands of people from various communities participated in the ceremony, making it a significant social gathering.

Among the distinguished guests present at the event were Meghraj Singh Royal, Pratap Puri Ji Maharaj, and former Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Prof. Amarika Singh.
During the program, Maharaja Gaj Singh spoke about the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (1897) and shared insights regarding the spread and status of the Rathore lineage, particularly in various districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
A proposal was also discussed to establish an international university similar to Shantivan, with Jodhpur, Pali, Nagaur, Jaisalmer, and Barmer being considered suitable locations. The proposed institution is planned to be set up as a private university under the leadership of Prof. Amarika Singh.
The discussions also focused on women’s education, social development, and strengthening community organizations. It was informed that a delegation led by Prof. Amarika Singh will soon visit Jodhpur to hold further discussions with Maharaja Gaj Singh Rathore on the proposed initiatives.
The event was considered socially and culturally significant, as several important issues and developmental ideas were deliberated during the gathering.
